This grief help is beyond beautiful description. I have experienced grief through both long time spouse and son taking their life three years apart. I now help others through this grief. My chaplain team recently reviewed these resources. They use metaphors of seasons or dragonflies, or butterflies to share powerful, sometimes difficult, always helpful and healing information. We really appreciate that these are offered in Spanish as well.

I came across Nature Gives Us Butterflies pamphlet in 2021 when my dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. My dad was not ready for hospice care, but the hospice nurse left me with the pamphlet. I read the pamphlet and didn't think much of it until several months later when my dad was literally on his death bed. I then reread the pamphlet and was blown away by how it took me through what was happening step-by-step in such a thoughtful and beautiful way. It was an amazing resource then and now that I am a Death Doula I continue to find such value in these publications, for myself, and my future clients. Thank you!

Hi, my husband is on hospice and the booklet the hospice company has I feel does not provide the comfort I needed as a caregiver. I loved reading them and passed them onto our hospice social worker to read and share with the office. She also found them wonderfully written. I hope that our hospice company will think about handing them out to their other hospice patients. Hopefully you will hear from them soon. Thank you so much for sending them to us.
